Happy Anniversary to Us!

Sam and I have just celebrated our 2nd wedding anniversary. Time’s gone so fast. We’ll probably say that every year! We celebrated it last Sunday with a meal out and a chat about our highlights and lowlights of the last year. I’ve loved the last two years. We know each other better and differently than before and have been on lots of adventures. My hairdresser asked if I was happier than when we got married or the same or not as happy. I said that I’m still happy - happier in fact -but about completely different things and in ways I couldn’t have imagined about things I couldn’t have predicted then.

Thanks Sam for two years of adventures and for being there whatever my mood and whatever our circumstances. This week you have been brilliant throughout assignments I wrote, snotty noses, me stressing about mess, and losing sleep as a result of your wife’s bunged up night-breathing!! My life is so much better with you in it. You give me a perspective on life and myself that I would never get on my own and strengths that go so well with mine!

Here’s to more adventures to live and experience together. I made a good choice. I love you!!

Congratulations. I love reading your page. It was great to meet you in May. I actually am moving up to Gig Harbor, Washington to work with Andy and Lisa Johnson and their ministry Restitution. It’s pretty exciting. Love hearing your sharing…and are you guys actually going to Podcast your weekly sermons, or just some things here and there. I’d love to hear more.

Thanks Deana! Can’t wait to talk! I love talking - and shopping!!

    Hi Emily!
How exciting that you’re moving to Washington! I hope you’re looking foward to your adventure. With Mosaic Sheffield we don’t have regular services or anything - mainly meeing with people in pubs and cafes and in our house to go through ‘Chasing Daylight’. We’ve attracted a diverse mix of people. When we do a larger gathering it’ll probably be monthly or something. We’ll do that when we feel like it’s needed. It’s all a big experiment and it’s lots of fun!! We’ll try and podcast some relevant stuff at some point I reckon. I’ll keep you posted!

Well, if you guys podcast, I already have it set up. I’m excited abouty your adventure with Mosaic Sheffield. I look forward to following your journey too and one day hearing more of your thoughts via podcast, but for now, I enjoy reading your pages.

I have a number of friends in England, I’m convinced now I’m going to have to make a trip one of these days. I miss my days living in London :(

Again, congrats on your anniversary. You are a great couple, team, force for advancing his kingdom!

Happy Anniversary! You two are a wonderful couple. Your willingness to risk and dream bold, big dreams inspires me!!!

We will be celebrating 10 years this month. Dean will be gone with Alex on our actual anniversary day but he is making that up to me by taking me to New York on September 20th!! I am really excited.

Thanks for writing. I haven’t been on VOX much lately. We have been so busy! Lots of design work etc etc …

Alex and Niza lived with us for almost two months and now they have gone on to Florida. I am so sad. I absolutely loved having them here. I will definitely be in Florida in Feb. I wouldn’t miss it! I can’t wait to see you.

Dean’s mom and her husband will be in Sheffield on Tuesday. Wouldn’t it be weird if you somehow met them!! Dean’s sister is now on VOX. She could probably tell you where her parents will be in Sheffield. darcy.voxtropolis.com

How have you been? I think of you often and can’t wait to get back to England.

    Love you!
    Tina
