I find language fascinating too! I look forward to comparing our individual ways of expressing ourselves! I definitely think American English and British English are very different at times. We use different words across different parts of Britain too.

I'll try and think of some British gems to share at origins!

Little things like "the rubbish bit is that I'm poorly." I've never heard anyone over here describe feeling ill like that. I like it! I enjoy learning English phrases that I'm not familiar with. I find the variance of word usage in English fascinating! From England to America is different, even east coast to west coast can differ. Little phrases like "mind the gap." Over here, we say "watch your step" or something like that. It's just interesting to watch the English language evolve.

See you all at Origins!

We'll be at origins. We fly out next Friday! Very excited!

I'm feeling better today - haven't been to work but have got lots of rest. And it's still sunny!

I'm sorry you're sick! That's never fun. I love hearing English words used differently than we use them here in the U. S.

Are you all going to L.A. for Origins?
