One sleep ’til my Birthday!!
On 28th April I turn a 1/4 of a century. I’m just about to go to sleep knowing that it will be my birthday when I wake up. I’ve been really excited all day like a small child! Sam’s been very secretive about my presents. I didn’t go hunting for them, which is very grown up of me. Now he’s told me I’m not allowed donwstairs!! Oooh, the anticipation… Am I 25 or 5?!
Right, I’d better get to sleep. The sooner I sleep, the quicker my birthday will be here. I’ve got tomorrow off work which makes the thought of the day even better…

Deana, I don’t get how shopping on your birthday is fun!! Rachel’s had the day off today and guess what she’s been doing? Yep. Shopping! Maybe I’ll understand one day.

Absolutely is fun to shop on your birthday! You can buy the one thing you’ve been looking at for months saying, oh someone will get that for my birthday…but innevitably no one does…so you buy it for yourself, pleased with your purchase!
And Sam…you may never understand…just like we may never understand how you’d rather watch a Rugby match with your mates on your birthday…instead of shopping with your wife! Ha ha!
